Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Munster to kick off in the second half. Hopefully we can get pressure on early. I think Munster are still well in this, but that try was a killer.

Id be bringing Cronin and Ryan on early.

That was bizarre from Conway. Quite lucky to escape a card though with the way contact in the air is being reffed these days Garces could have sent Steenson to the bin for taking the man in the air!!!!

I would've taken that half time scoreline at kick off.
We've shown up today and no mistake.

Haley and Archer had a couple of poor moments but nothing terrible in the bigger picture.

Beirne has shown his true worth today. That's what he was showing all last season. He's the real deal.

Himself and James Ryan are Ireland's future. That's a nice notion.

The danger of that is what we just saw. The wind.

Exeter will have to score tries to win, it will be nearly impossible for them to score penalty kicks or to gain field position with kicks.

Exeter did not make use of the wind in the first half.

Munster need to kick for position, they should make Exeter play in their own half. This game is now made for Munster.

I think if they cut down on mistake they can win.

I'm really surprised he got away with it. He had to have run early there.
No, Steenson took a slow 'run' up. One step and Conway was away.

The wind is so strong that it is easier said than done to use it to your advantage to build field position. So easy to overcook them so it will be a huge test for Carbery.

Just because someone takes a slow run up you cant recklessly dive through them. Many other refs would have given him a card and he was lucky his elbow wasn't an inch the other direction and caught Steenson in the head as Garces wouldnt have a choice.

Kleyne is just so good as the unseen work. Gets stuck in to every ruck and carries like a demon

The question was if Conway was early.

Williams that was madness, saying that we weren't making any ground

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Exeter just walking up in defence they know full well it’s just waves of forwards coming at them.

Similar to Cardiff away, forwards making little ground.

All those penalties and penalty try rubbish from last week when in fact Munster should have been penalised at EVERY scrum from PoMs illegal binds.

Decent hours work for Scannel that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,151 ✭✭✭letowski

How can you not score a try in that situatiom. Our redzone play is horrendous.

The difference when Mathewson wasn’t on last week and was actively taking the ball away from the forwards is nigh and day to this.

James Cronins discipline is a consistent embarrassment
