There's no better feeling than channel hopping and you see this appearing.

You know you're not going anywhere else after that.

Watched Christmas Coopers on Thursday, Jack Frost yesterday afternoon and The Holiday last night.

I usually get no time to watch any Christmas films in the run up to the festivities, which is why I'm making a special effort this year! :)

Didn’t see it mentioned, but Four Christmases, is a bit like Christmas with the Kranks. Worth a watch IMO

Watched Christmas with the Coopers and The Best Man Holiday earlier. Utter rubbish, both of them.

Christmas with the Coopers requires too much concentration for my liking and isn't funny as billed.

The other one is just meh. A "mirthful reunion" that involves fighting, swearing, cancer and death. Yeah, happy Christmas to you too Netflix!

I enjoyed Christmas with the Coopers. I didn't think it was going to be a comedy though, having seen the trailer.

Just watched The Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding there. Good, but not as good as the first one!

The debate is on in the house at the moment for the nominated Christmas movie to watch Friday night before I head home for Christmas. Scrooged or Muppets Christmas Carol? My 2 favourite Christmas movies. Impossible to pick.

We had our pal over for dinner and movies last night, his wife and family live in Wales and he works here full time. He is flying home today for Christmas. We watch Harold and Kumar's Christmas movie (as my OH went out, she hates it) then we watched the night before. I forgot how goo the night before is.

Yes! I really like the Night Before, Seth Rogan's scene in the church is one of my favorites.

For those very wrong people who dispute the fact that Die Hard is a Christmas movie...

  • Registered Users Posts: 33 JMcGee

We saw Die Hard in the cinema last night. That was a great experience. The sound is a bit dated but it just added to the whole thing. Picture quality too but who cares. Just super fantantasic greatness. Some guy brought his 2 teenage daugheters and a buddy overheard him asking them what they thought… "meh" bloody teenage heathens.

I haven't watched a single Christmas movie this year yet  I have a few saved in Netflix so I'll have to rectify that tonight.

ACTUALLY no, I watched Love Actually while wrapping my Christmas gifts last weekend so I have watched one...I need more :D

Annoyingly I missed The Bishop's Wife on BBC 4 the other day, if anyone wants to see it, I tried all the usual legal and illegal sites and couldn't find it, finally found a decent copy on Dailymotion.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.
