Have to face the music later on my actions later and see how that goes though and I am very nervous.

In bed and in pain. Just up so must have got 6 hours sleep which is amazing for me.

Update on facing the music: the world's best nurse helped me tell my mother about another stupid thing I did that I was so nervous about and unable to do and she and my dad have taken it surprisingly well.q

Also I couldn't find my earphones and and I was on the brink of cutting so my night nurse with awesome coloured hair went all over the place retracing my steps until I found them in my locker at the very bottom :o
Then she helped me get settled in bed and took my earphones out when she saw I was asleep to save battery. Gonna ask for some pain relief in a sec but either way we don't deserve nurses.

So good morning all. Happy hump day.

EDIT: She got me pain relief. She is the great.

Also I know I only post about myself and may come across narcissistic but I only have so much battery for browsing Boards so can really only post updates.

*BIG SUPER DEE DOOPER HUGS SHPUD*

Thanks Grem. I actually feel like I could get a physical hug from one of the nurses because all the night staff tonight are nice even the one that was scary the other night was good to me. It would be weird to ask for a hug so I won't but I must say it's nice to have nurses who actually enjoy their job and are so caring and remember your story and details. So I'm starting today on a positive note :) I almost feel like Auto :D

Couchside, soon to be bedside. Spent the last 2 days cleaning up from Christmas, rearranged furniture and storage space and vacuumed 2 days in a row. Refereed so many wrestling matches between the 7 and 9 year old, but they finally understand why I give out when the 9 year old pushed the 7 year old off the couch and he bust his head open. Fun day :D no stitches required but the 8 year old is still shook. That'll teach him better than any lecture. I ran away back to the cupboard I was tidying. Kids, who'd have em..
    Night now.
That was last night... Forgot to press go. I'm desperately trying to get up. It's just not working.. So so much to do and no éill to do anything but lie in my cosy bed. Ill be cursing in about 15 minutes. :D

Northgirl, I'm a huge advocate of EAPs, I found mine so so helpful when dealing with a work related stress issue. Hope all goes well for you

Thanks, it's not so much a work related issue but yes I'm sure it'll be helpful.

    Hospital update:
    Woke up feeling great
Had a massive breakfast (2 slices of toast and a bowl of rice krispies)
Took my meds and had a lovely hot shower
Now just need to get my vitals done and wait for the specialist doctor so for now study and hopefully in my next update I'll know if I'm sleeping in my own bed or not :)

Just home from a beach walk. Absolutely stunning and in this weather all cobwebs are gone. Loving it.

I need to win the lotto and move here permanently!

Got a bit bogged down this morning with a few things to do, so working from home for the day.

It's a busy job with generally long hours, but autonomy and flexibility (though I don't abuse it) does make all the difference :) Helps that I've a very good team working for me too.

Was in flying form today, and the weekend was really good too, I think I've turned a corner. Then I go see my psychologist today and it's like "let's talk about all of the terrible things that ever happened to you". Not in such a good mood now :p

After my dad died I had to go to councelling but I’d always take the late appointment and go for a heap of pints beforehand. I’d be practically asleep waiting to go in. It was great. It was basically an hour of the Lexie show. I stopped going when he started asking questions I didn’t want to talk about. I had a Mrs Brown moment, I’m cured! Im cured! Kind of defeated the whole entire purpose, but sure look. I’ve the height of respect for anyone who can do councelling properly and sober.

I’m in work. Got the whole entire salon scrubbed down! Even Swept the attic :D

Been here since 9 o clock and got feck all done.
Neighbours passing by and all stopping for a chat, I'm working right along the road, building a boundary and entrance wall.
I'm catching up on the local gossip anyway.
My hands are sore from the blocks, I got soft for the couple of weeks off. Will work away till dark and try to make some time up.

The house smells of tea tree oil got a text from the school about nits(I’m itching writing this).
So bathing kids and leaving shampoo that’s infused with tto drops soak on their heads for 10 minutes at least.
