Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Few factors involved really.

Mainly BBC iPlayer stops working fairly fast with most VPNs as the BBC have software running that will trigger an alert to them if too many multiple streams are going to the same IP address.

So if Windscribe have a VPN in London say, 172.139.6.2 and 500 people across Ireland want to watch BBC iPlayer, then all 500 streams are sent to that address first. The BBC then have a fair game to what is going on and essentially block it.

Secondly you could have a D.N.S leak so its good to use another D.N.S provider to prevent this.

If you want a VPN for watching UK media in Ireland, find smaller VPN companies that specialize in this. They only offer you VPN tunnels that are limited in capacity so they are not turned off. It may cost a few £ more, but its reliable and more to the point of what you want

Used them for a few months and all is working great.

    3 years for €18

I've used Stack a few times and has always been fine. Great Trust Pilot reviews. I am currently on that plan.

From looking online, this essentially means my information is being monitored? If I was to just use this VPN for simply watching BBC/ITV/Ch4 for shows then I'd be alright?

Why not just use a proxy DNS for iPlayer etc?

I'm a noob when it comes to this. I tried a proxt dns before but then it stopped working for some reason. Will look back into it so if that's the best way to go.

I got a lifetime windscribe sub for @€;30 about a year ago.
Works fantastically well, easy setup and very handy config generator.
