It was to show support to someone who isn’t afraid speak the truth for people.

Because every other td and candidate are afraid and lie through their teeth to remain PC.

5 of the other candidates, 3 of which are multi millionaires, (2 via the private market, and one by clamping firmly to the teat of the taxpayer) basically said they'd welcome a traveller halting camp set up at the end of their driveways.

Absolute horse shof the highest order. Casey quite rightly told them all they were disingenuous.

That was his only moment that he truly held back, you could see on his face.... He wanted to shout "LYING CNUTS THE LOTTA YAS" but he prob thought it not very presidential.

I'd agree. If he had dropped out at the weekend, I believe he still would have attracted a sizeable vote - just as a push back against the Dail-Rte-IT circle by having the audacity to call out traveller behaviour as he sees it.

There are a group here that think Casey is going to win, but they are going to be very let down on Saturday. Him polling well should be the most they can hope for, and that's far from guaranteed.

There was very little of interest in the debate at all.
The interviewer was poor, all the candidates came across poorly, no atmosphere either with no audience, it was piss poor tv tbh.
The only thing of interest was Casey's coolness, in comparison the rest were like prickly pears.

Tbf now, that's what any president will do.
The president will do fcek all, despite the campaign.
Casey has by far the most interesting campaign, if he turns that in to votes, that might turn heads in govt, but once the campaign is over, so is the grand gesturing.
It may well be that Casey performs well due to a protest vote, I hope he does, but I don't think he will win, I would rather he took an active political role after this election myself.

Performed poorly enough alright. Its a pity someone more articulate isn't available to deliver his points of view, but so be it, he still gets my number 1.

He's getting my vote and that's exactly why.

I don't think he'll win, I hope he'll get enough votes for a few other politicians to sit up and take note that enough is enough when it comes to pandering to these parasites.

I'm not saying we should gas them, just that they should be treated exactly the same as I am!

The fact that they are up in arms at such a suggestion (when any other "oppressed" group in the world would be jumping for joy at the suggestion) just shows they know full well how society bends over backwards to accommodate their shítty "culture".
