FF FG have practically merged because they are afraid of SF becoming the main opposition party. The game is up when that happens.

They are each petrified for their own survival reasons of facing an electorate. That is what is happening politically, no need for conspiracy theories.

How long the electorate stand for a practically paralysed government remains to be seen.

They are afraid of SF because SF have the resources to challenge them.

It will be more of the same for most of us if SF enter Government.

That's as maybe. But maybe if some of the mob du jour got off their backsides and changed what can be changed we might see some progress.
Just as they are readying themselves with excuses of Casey fails, so too will the sitting government be if he wins.
And they can shut him up knowing the mob du jour will move on to graze elsewhere.

The overwhelming majority of Casey voters don't think he'll actually win so your narrative is a little off, as usual.

We will never have a traveller referendum again. A national vote where the people can send a clear message that things have gone too far. Don't waste the opportunity.

    Vote early, vote often.
    Vote Casey.

I will be one of thousands of people who will vote Peter Casey today not because I know a whole pile about him but because where I live my family and so many others lives have been ruined by travellers robbing us .
It’s a huge issue in many parts of the country as there is either no Garda presence or the courts won’t deal with it . The main parties are ignoring it and Peter Casey is the only one calling out the carry on of travellers which is making living in many parts of this country hell .

What is Peter saying he will do about the traveller problem? Not much he can do as president.

People here haven't said either. But I could probably have an educated guess.

    Off to vote here.

I don't think people expect him to do anything but it will send a clear message.

Peter is a green card holder and therefore he must pay taxes on all his worldwide income in the states. It's the law. Many Irish people have or had green cards. Has Higgins released a breakdown on his expenses in the aras yet?

In a way he has already done all he could.

Racism is now hiding behind the cloak of Community activism.

Not the first time a Casey voter has said this. Along with "I don't actually want him president but I vote for him."
