Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anyone watch this news programme on BBC? I find it very, very good. The presenters Katty Kay and Christian Fraser present from London and USA simultaneously. It's fast moving, engaging and ultra professional. The screen is split so both are always on. This is the sort of programme RTE could never make. Too many serious faces there.

    Yeah, I like it, it does work surprisingly well with the constant exchange between Europe and the US.

    Outside Source is another good thing BBC News do, not as polished but still generates interesting content.

    They do other decent stuff too, apart from the usual news bulletins.

    Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

    Yes I am surprised at how seamless those exchanges are. I like the fact they respond non verbally to each other's comments. Especially Kay who has such an intelligent looking demeanour. Thete are interesting asides: Christian teased her last week about her luke warm response to the news about Meighan 's baby news. They are relaxed. The chat flows. Nothing seems contrived.
