Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi I was wondering could someone explain it to me. I changed jobs last month so I got paid 3 weeks (inc holiday pay) from the old job on the 25th of September and 2 weeks from the new job on the 23 rd of September and paid tax on both.

Now in Octobers pay I got charged another good amount over what I usually pay this doesn't seem correct an no one in revenue was able to explain it to me

    Cheers in advance

If you were paid from the new job on 25/09 before the final pay from the old job on 23/09 it looks like the new employer didn't have the P45 from old job. Each employer may have used tax credits for the same period ( the new employer using emergency tax credits and the old employer using the existing instruction) but you would only have been due one set of credits. Now the P45 has come through the system and the new employer has to correct that.

Thanks for that I think they both used my credits for the last month but now a month on I’m getting taxed a huge amount more than usual saying I underpaid last month. Suppose will be clear at the end of year balancing statements cheers for the reply and explanation
