Man City get a decent draw against Burnley who shouldn't be too bothered given their PL plight.

He did. If they go on to win the league, he got his team selection bang on tonight. The big players needed rest after the effort they put in during over the last month.

How could he have rotated better?

1 of the main attackers playing as a start.

Bench VVD at least so if an Injury happens to bring him on or to hold onto a game if leading.

Reports suggest Lallana was fit but Klopp just didn't want to risk it? So does that mean he's fit for the weekend? Could have benched him and came on if need be.

Robertson and TAA understandable rested due to lack of cover.

2 of the 3 attackers ended up coming off the bench anyway so he obviously cared about the result. He just cared too late

Good result for Woves but a really poor night for Pool/Klopp.

Should have started a stronger team ,I know there is zero pressure on them to win anything but a FA cup is till a decent thropy .
Especially for a team who havent won anything in 6 or 7 years.
No doubt people will say Klopp didn't want to win it anyway but why even bother bringing Firminho or Salah then.

I'd have thought, with the calibre of player that Liverpool undoubtedly have (and that was no team of stiffs out there tonight), that they'd have been capable of dealing with a breezy evening.

Bit of a meh draw for the giant killers. Barnet got Brentford at home, Accrington Stanley draw Derby/Southampton and Newport got Middlesbrough away.

TV might pick the Accrington game out of those 3.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Klopp has to be under pressure to win something, for a team that was in a CL final, all the money they spent on the team. He has lost 6 finals in a row now ,why does he get a pass on not winning anything .

The pressure on to get something and I'd say this was his best chance .

Given their position in the PL, I'd say the Pool fans arent overly bothered by the FA cup, its the top 6 teams 3rd biggest competition after the PL and European trophies.

I'd love to retain the FA cup this year but given our recent history of winning it every few years, I'm not overly bothered, maybe thats the difference, for Utd, City, Chelsea fans, trophies have become some what of the norm in the last decade or so and we probably have devalued the League Cup and FA cup because of it.

Never realised that the wind is such a big issue for them. Maybe a gust of wind blew Salah over against Newcastle and he didn't dive after all!

Liverpool are probably going to win the PL, so you can give them a pass on the FA Cup. They don't have the squad to challenge on multiple fronts. However, I think that Spurs, Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea & Man City would still want to win the FA Cup. Arsenal & Chelsea have a decent chance of winning the EL but the others won't win the CL. Pep has made it clear that he wants to win the FA Cup, so Man City will be in the race for it.

Well if it's comparisons we are talking, then I'd say Klopp was more like Mourinho in trying to deflect away from the team and himself, which by the look of it he may have achieved. Your assumption is plainly obvious, in that I am a Liverpool fan, which I am not.

Liverpool fans quick to point out they fielded a weakened to side failing to mention Wolves did the exact same and still walked all over them.

That Liverpool squad is paper thin when a few of the top players are missing.
