Was just reading a bit more about it and it was indeed going to be a direct port of the Jaguar game. Was meant to be ported to the 3DO at the same time too but both versions were cancelled.
So many cancelled and 'what ifs?' from around then. I'm still annoyed we never saw a Capcom Alien Versus Predator 32X release. Reckon if it was done right it really would have shifted a lot of units.

Its so frustrating that avp hasn't been ported more and the only release has been that Capcom shaped mini system.
