Yup, that's just what someone with immense musical talent who has had obvious mental health issues from her teenage years and has displayed suicidal tendencies in recent years needs.

A good kick in the hole.

    This country sometimes, seriously...

I'll have you know that it has been scientifically proven that a good boot up the hole will solve most of life's problems.

What defines a "good boot" what happens if you get a bad boot up the hole?
Have you still got a boot lodged in yours?

For folk like Margaret Cash? yes.

Talented people or people in general with a history of mental health issues? not so much.

No boot would ever solve the problem of the US being run by your namesake.

No, never had one. It's not normal to have one, but if you've always had one up there yourself you might have assumed that everyone else has one too!

It'll be more fun when she tries to quit and convert to another religion of the month later.

This is definitely something she can just walk back on once the "She's So Brave." headlines wear off. She posted a video of her singing the call to prayer. Definitely not something she can swear off and just move one to the next cool Leftie thing.

Interesting that someone that spent so much time mocking and attacking the Catholic Church, converts to Islam. Hypocrite much. But I guess it's fashionable to attack Catholics now and praise Islam for the liberals. Wonder does she live with any of her children, hopefully their fathers will mind them. I bet her children are cringing big time and extremely worried.

That poor lady has suffered devastating mental illness all her life, it's hard to even think of the torment that has blighted her life. I hope it's a decision made rationally and not while she was struggling. I wish her happiness, she deserves a break.

Furthermore, I consider that Carthage must be destroyed.

She has never lived to the standards of any of the religions she aligns herself with. John Waters going on about his religious beliefs is just as hypocritical given they had a child together out of marriage.

Everything Sinead has ever done always overshadowed her talent as a singer. She never reached the heights she should have in the music industry.

Unfortunately not by writing a decent song though.

Her biggest fame came from covering a song Prince wrote. Then she repaid him by accusing him of attempted rape.

This is new and I love it. Ronnie Wood on guitar and Nick Mason (Pink Floyd) on drums. It's unfortunate her talent is overlooked because she is completely crackers.

The woman is clearly unwell, and this is yet another cry for attention.

It also exposes the ugly side of Irelands attitude towards mental health. All over social media, there's people ripping the piss out of her, and the same ones do the Darkness Into Light stuff every year, or share "It's ok to not be ok."

    What's the present tense about?

Horrific in the past yes but not anymore - horrors are still being committed in the name of Islam though.

It starts with education in Ireland. Everyone must wear a uniform and fit in. Shut up, keep the head down, don't stand out, repeat what the teacher says, learn it off by heart, repeat it over and over and don't question.
If you want funny colours in your hair, be different, have tattoos or piercings or stand out in any way whatsoever, you're quaar and not right in the head.
Hence the ridicule and hatred for anyone who is any different, like Sinead, Bono or Bob.
    This thread, case in point.
It's funny, I met all the most interesting Irish people in Germany. I thought Ireland must be a mad place. It isn't.
In it's own way it is actually more conformist than Germany.

Your Ireland bashing is tedious - and hypocritical when you're so anti racist.

Take a look at your own country's recent history first before throwing stones.

There is a very good reason we avoid uniforms and at least my generation has been told to look behind the title or the uniform and that it is ok and necessary to question.
Why? What's wrong with that? If your answer is "But! But! ...Nazis!", you can save yourself the trouble.
