I'm eating porridge before bed, so I don't wake up hungry in the middle of the night. Is there anybody else that does this or am I on my own?

My Kids love it but it feels like a show trying too hard to hit everything. Maybe I am a grinch but was looking forward to it. Underwhelming

It's always on around this time. It's December tomorrow FFS.

Move to a week into December (no parent ever based a Xmas gift off this show)and lose the fad set decoration (similar thing happened when Disney sponsored it before).
The look can be an important part of generating an atmosphere, but I doubt even that would save it nowadays.

I do the same with whiskey so I don't wake up thirsty.

Yes, because I didn't actually die.

Can’t wait for the Martin Callinan doll, you pull the string and it says

'And the other fella fiddles with kids. They’re the kind of f*****g headbangers I’m dealing with'

Yes, on weekends, Maurice McCabe teaches violin.

Sum load of ****e, tubs and crew messed this year's show by over thinking it. The lack of atmosphere is probably a result of the circus set. Car crash TV. Just as well Graham Norton is on.

To be honest, I thought the girl doing the solo acoustic bit was really good and then they just ruined it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,752 ✭✭✭Thepoet85

    The Christmas classic, Dancing Queen

I wonder how many vegans will get their knickers in a twist over that ad?

Nobody actually wants to see these stage school kids except their parents. Normal kids are much more entertaining.

    Thank you f**king stage school.

This is a whole lot better than the Billy Barry crap that was rolled out every years. Can't remember their replacement after that.

What's up with the audience? No atmosphere at all. Thought they'd have lashed some booze into them to get the going before the show.

Have to agree. There seems to only be a smattering of them applauding for anything other than a "one for everyone in the audience". They've got about €500 of free stuff so far but some of them still look pissed off.

How did they think they’d get away with it? :)
