They should do a retro The Den Late Late Toy Show.. Have Dustin, Socky, Zig and Zag etc. host it and have them catapult Ryan Tubridy out of the studio into the night sky as the finale.. Would watch that.

My niece and nephew, who had been looking forward to this all night, are now playing Minecraft and ignoring the TV.

I think the studio audience are the only ones who having a great time.

I switched off and am watching I’m a celeb instead. My 4 year old watched as far as the first ad break and said “ mammy I preferred the “Ariel” show last year” ....just following the thread here to prepare me for when she watches the rest of it tomorrow!

The fact the audience are arranged around a circus ring is not working for whatever reason. From what I’ve seen it feels as if there is a barrier between the audience and the stage.....I think the idea was good but it hasn’t worked!
