Ah it was a lovely segment. My brother had adult leukaemia when he was 27, and I was his bone marrow doner at 17. That was 16 years ago and he’s flying and has had 3 kids since so definitely touched an emotional nerve with me

Actually enjoyed all that. Unexpectedly enough. Thought Ryan did very well tonight. He seemed a lot calmer than previous years. He seemed to take the time to enjoy the children rather than racing on to the next thing.

I think it's nice to have non Christmas songs.We will be bombarded soon enough with Wizard,Slade etc.etc.

There was no themes in those days and it was great.

Grand Toy Show. The cynicism and how seriously people take a "Toy Show" not at all surprising in this neck of the woods. Some very unusual people out there.

Ah here too many Scrooges on this thread! It's the Toy Show what do you expect. I thought Ryan was much better than previous years not as hyper. The one criticism I would have is that the camera angles were very poor. Most of time the kids had backs to camera.

Lowlights: circus thing, subdued (sober?) crowd, ADHD host, lack of Christmas
