Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Does anyone have any idea how much it might be for a bathroom refurb for a 6ft x 5ft bathroom? We'd be getting rid of the bath and putting in a shower, possibly new toilet and sink and walls tiled.

Don't know if we can afford it at the minute so just wondering how much it costs before we start seriously looking!

    Thanks!!

Seriously it all depends on what you install. Not being flippant at all, but are you doing the work of tiling? Are you installing the sanitaryware?

Currently there’s a bath with an immersion run shower. We’d be looking at taking that out and replacing it with a shower tray with doors and possibly an electric shower. Definitely replacing the current sink, maybe keeping the current toilet. Tiling the full length of all 4 walls. Currently the floor is the original floor boards of the house so we’d be looking at keeping them. And keeping the current radiator.

Oh and we’d be looking into getting tradesmen into do it - definitely wouldn’t be doing this ourselves!!
