I must be on the only one not getting the Dunnes one, nowhere near as good as their more recent one IMO.

Thats the one. Loved it & was hoping (like the Guinness one) that they'd use it for years!

I'm not mad about the Dunnes One at all...too 'busy' or something...
    I love the McDonald's one :D

I also love the An Post ad which has been out for a few years. Love the song sung by Lisa Hannigan :)

Love the Dunnes one. I actually felt tearful watching it.

Just watched it, after a long day at work, 7th day in a row and I’m wrecked and that has me in tears. Thought it was just me. Love it. Such a feel good ad not just buy buy buy!!!

Hard to beat the classics in fairness. Christmas only really begins for me once I see the Guinness one (which I haven't seen yet this year)!

It got a little dark there in the middle but I LOVED the end!

Really like the Dunnes ad, its about joining together in good spirit for the mystical Santa Claus, with added dog with Christmas lights. Way better than an ad for a diva and his piano with no message except narcissism.

Interesting article, it includes: A brief history of the Christmas TV advert

McDonalds is probably my favourite Christmas Ad so far. Gives the true meaning of Christmas about giving and thinking about other people when Santa so Kind to get Carrots for the Reindeers when no one at the houses had them while delivering presents for the children.

I like the Dunnes Ad I preferred the ones in previous years but its a nice ad all the same shows off the Christmas Spirit. I've always liked the Guinness ad gives a real sense of winter and Christmas.

John Lewis ad isn't too Christmassy which I think its good not as good as other years I loved the one with the penguin gave a true meaning and sense what Christmas is about. I like that it goes back to Eltons childhood of getting a piano for Christmas its sentimental and nostalgic really but amazed at the cost of producing the ad to have him in it.

The maker of the ad, and actors who starred in it,were on This Morning, this morning. He said he made the ad in 2014..He promised to make This Morning's christmas ad next year. Seemed like a lovely guy

It's the best christmas ad I've seen by far this year

I'm knocking on something with the 2018 version of the Coca Cola ad:

In the original, the bell ringing kid misses the convoy, then I think Santa came back and gave him a coke. Aw. This version, the bell ringing kid misses the convoy, then Santa closes the book and has a jolly laugh about it.

Maybe I'm not as full of the Christmas spirit as I should be :D

Another tear-jerker, but a worthwhile message
