Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi would anyone know anything about a "buffalo New York model 110" drill press. Can't seem to find much online. If anyone can shed any light on its rarity or a market for them that would be great. Thanks

Don’t know much about drill presses but I’ll hazard a guess. Could the 110 refer to the voltage?

Plenty of hits on google re buffalo drill presses

Nothing to do with voltage as it's a belt driven pre electric unit.

    Mod.

The OPs response was to the point.

“I can’t pay my staff or mortgage with instagram likes”.

THANK YOU for that didn't think of that!!
Just to clear it up with the smart people on here don't make me out to be thick. I have searched Google and it is mainly American based so I posted on here to see if there was anyone with any information in Ireland. But thanks anyway

If you want more precise information, then I would advise that you give as much detail as possible about it, including photos.

As it is obviously an American machine you will find a lot more of them on American sites, I imagine the Irish market for vintage workshop equipment is quite small.

As there are not a lot of hits for that model it may be rare.

If you want to know how much someone is willing to pay for it then put it up on ebay.

I have an old advertisement in a early 20th century tool catalogue showing that model (and others) on the back cover.

It would only take a few minutes to scan a copy for you as a PDF if you want it.

It has Buffalo in stylised writing, underscored, low on the left and angling up to the right, correct? Just so we know it’s really the same thing.
Except you’re just too bloody rude to make the effort to help a smart arse. You’re also crap at understanding the machine and what’s written on it.

That would be great if you could please. It would be interesting to see. Thanks

Due to a site issue, we can't handout infraction cards, so it will just have to do to know that you are all very naughty boys.
