Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

15/20 is quite a number to reserve a spot. What night of the week? Maybe the top level of the Belfry/Embassy Rooms for that number.

15/20 for the dinner, few less for after. We don't want our own separate space but rather a corner of a pub.
Saturday night so probably not a hope?

There is a spot upstairs in the glasshouse which might do.

Otherwise the garavogue, andersons, fiddlers creak or the belfry, might be big enough.

If you make it to shoot the crows early enough you'll pack the place out, have it all to yourselves :P

  • I doubt any pub wil make a reservation for drinkers and not food, especially when it's likely that you will be arriving when the evening is in full swing. I think you'll have to take your chances along with the rest of the revellers out on a Saturday.

You might try Kennedys on the river. It has a large table at the back of the pub and you might be able to get that. They also have a separate room upstairs, looks like some sort of chill out room. You might want to give them a phone call to ask them about that. Hope you have a good evening.

What about Hargardons? Instead of going to the back and the booths/snugs. Theres an area/room with about 4/5 tables just after the front bar to the left, or the big shop/butcher counter on your right as you go in.

Busy pub on O'Connell Street, you might have to garantee numbers, promise a minimum spend, or just get in early and take it over. But its worth a try without the worries of loud music and people continously knocking your drinks.

The harp is your only man. Round the corner 2 mins from your hotel. Loads room they welcome good drinkers. Narrow at front. Big lounge at back. But as most said get there early as in 9
