Do BOI require flood insurance to be in place for properties identified by insurers as near flood plane, despite no house in the estate ever flooding? If this is a condition, it’s impossibke to comply with as no insurer will insure for flood cover for properties near a flood plane. Do you take the individual property and it’s location (on higher ground) into account?

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch with us here.
I can confirm that each application would be dealt with on a case by case basis and everything will be taken in to account when it is being processed. I'd ask you to contact our mortgage specialists and they'll be happy to take all of the details and look into your request specifically. I've given a link here that you can use to request a call back from them.

    Thanks again,
    Darren.
