Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am taking old chalk slabs off partition wall in bathroom as they are not in great condition and was never skimmed over. I’m wondering what material I should get to put back on partition in preparation to be tiled. green slab, ply or concrete board. There will be a walk in shower against wall also. Any help appreciated thanks

I've put concrete board all around the walk in shower area and green plasterboard in the areas outside in a recent ensuite job. If using concrete board don't use plasterboard screws, try and get ruspert coated screws or alternatively stainless screws as I've used.
As listermint advised tank the shower area well whether using concrete board or green plasterboard. Concrete board is not waterproof so requires tanking also, it's just that it won't decay if water does come in contact with it.

Thanks for your help I ordered 6 green today and two cement boards but they gave something called Uniboard instead it has a mesh running through it. It’s prob better than green but not as good as cement I’m thinking
