Changing credit cards and stamp duty

I am changing from permanent tsb’s ice credit card to AIB’s platinum credit card. I am waiting to receive my new AIB credit card in the post and I still have the ice credit card. I’m just wondering is there anything I need to do before I close the permanent tsb credit card to ensure I don’t pay the stamp duty twice this…

You need to ask AIB what they need, from PTSB, via yourself, to prove that you have already paid credit card duties for the year. A statement might be sufficient.
