Changing credit cards and stamp duty

I am changing from permanent tsb’s ice credit card to AIB’s platinum credit card.

I am waiting to receive my new AIB credit card in the post and I still have the ice credit card.

I’m just wondering is there anything I need to do before I close the permanent tsb credit card to ensure I don’t pay the stamp duty twice this year ?

    Thanks

You need to ask AIB what they need, from PTSB, via yourself, to prove that you have already paid credit card duties for the year. A statement might be sufficient.
