Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Aki still on....phew!

Looked like a nasty ankle twist on the replay - wouldn't be surprised if he is pulled off soon

He's not on the field that long now but the loose play in the pack is far more solid and stable since Toner came on. Badly needed as well, and his introduction could well be the difference between losing and winning the game.

I say this with no irony or provocation, the Leinster subs have steadied the ship completely.

That’s the Argentinian B team at the moment.

That was an ARG knock on at the line. Still should have gone for 3 though

Aki's ankle looked o.k. there with those two little steps.

Quite so. They're on about their 11th final warning.

He's a dirty cheap shot merchant but Lavanini is an incredible athlete.

It's strange hearing Ryal Nugent commentating on not RTÉ 2 this evening.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,997 ✭✭✭almostover

So 3 off the ball tackles by Lavanini and I get villified from posters on here for calling attention to it.....man should have a YC by now

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,502 ✭✭✭Paul Smeenus

Surely one of our vice captains should be in the ref's ear?

In fairness there were one or two tackles by Ireland in the last batch of phases that also went high which would have been pinged in recent weeks in other games. So he's allowing it from both sides.

Another try and we have our 18 point spread

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,232 ✭✭✭DGRulz

That series of hand offs deserved to end it a try. Lavanini had a series of very high tackles around the neck in a row there.

Ref has been great, but the number of penalties and warnings from Argentina without a card is a bit much at this stage.

Multiple offsides missed, multiple examples of foul play missed and for the number called no cards. The officials have been muck and contribituted negativity to the game and occasion.

It's great to have him back rather than TV3 soccer commentators do it

Ah some great carries and some great carries though. He always made yards with ball in hand. Granted he made a couple of errors.

Would nearly have given Dan Leavy man of the match. Been fantastic since he came on
