New Ag science course in UCC?

I'm in 6th year and considering putting Ag science UCC as my first choice, however just want to find out whether it's a bit risky doing a course that has never been ran in the college before? Do you's think there'll be much interest in it and what sort of points compared to UCD's Ag course (455)? Tia
