    Good afternoon, 
    I forgot my User id for online banking. I live abroad and every time I am trying to send a sms to get the Id number, it says It is not possible to get it. 
    As I live in Spain it will cost me a lot of money if I call BOI. Is there any chance to get thenuser id number by email?

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here.

    If you are living abroad you can get your User ID is to ring 0035314044000 select option 1 and then option 2. The text recovery option only works within Ireland and it cannot be sent out be email as it is sensitive information.
