I can totally see how trained, experienced pilots can make very similar observational mistakes but luckily have pragmatic, scientific keyboard warriors to put them right.

A meteorite coming towards and passng above you will appear to climb. I'd bet the house that's all it was, splitting into two.

The Speedbird reported it turning left, and the Virgin reported it banking right, so not very similar.

This is all the audio and radar tracking. Multiple flights complained about turbulence at 340-380 prior to the report. Quite suspicious.

So what was it then? Most likely a splitting meteorite?

I think it was President Obama who was the 1st believeable high profile politician to admit that "there are craft flying within our airspace that we can't identify".

Unidentified craft of unknown origin, either from another country or of (unknown origin) capable of extreme speed & maneuverability beyond our current understanding.

All will be revealed tomorrow July 26 at the Congress Committee meeting in Washington DC.

Three professional witnesses to testify under oath, two pilots included, including Commander David "Tic Tac" Fravor, Ryan Graves, and David Grusch to be grilled and cross examined a lá Oireachtas Committee style!

We've actually heard these testimonials before, but this time it's in front of Congress, under oath and under intense scrutiny as many civil & military pilots will be enthralled as to what they have witnessed at altitude & on radar.

Expect some outlandish claims (by Grusch), although even if they're outlandish he is highly decorated & respected + he's under oath, so make of his claims what you will. Dave Fravor and the other witness seem to have more 1st hand visual evidence, which is quite fascinating.
