Hi. Looking to buy a 55 inch tv around the £550 - £650 mark. There seems to be quite a few on your site...LG,Samsung etc... Can you recommend the best one for picture quality?
Thank you.
Dave.
Here are a few for you to look at.
Panasonic 55FX700 priced at £669. I could drop a little to keep it in budget at £649.00
https://www.richersounds.ie/p-203240-panasonic-tx55fx700b-55-ultra-hd-4k-hdr-led-tv.aspx
LG have their 55UK6750 priced at £579.00

Samsung have the 55NU7400 priced at £649. Great television but with the Pana above at the same price, the Pana would pip it for me.

If you could stretch a little there is the very nice LG 55SK8100 priced at £699

What would be the difference between them? For example, what is it about the £699 LG one that is better than the £579 one? Is it a picture quality thing?0 -

The SK8100 has the better image between the two.
The SK8100 also supports Dolby Vision the 6750 does not.
The 55SK8100 is a 100Hz panel the 6750 the standard 50Hz.
It's like a car manufacture makes lots of different models of cars. Like Ford have the Kaa and the Mustang. Both still Fords but do not perform or cost the same :D0 -

I just had a look at DIDs website and they are doing this TV for 899.99 euro.
Even at a lower price we wouldn't be able to match it as they only include a 1 year manufacturer warranty. They would need to include either a 5 or 6 year warranty to be able to match it.
Let me know what you think.
Kind regards

Hi Kenny. I should have bitten 2 weeks ago when it was £699. Amazing that it can go up from £699 to £799, then from £799 to £899 in two weeks!
Frustrating!
I'll have to wait until after xmas as you may have some deals on then.
I'll also be looking for a couple of Sonos Play 1's also as i recently got my hands on a playbar.0 -

We will have our usual Boxing Day sale however our prices do change quite regularly so keep an eye on the website in the meantime!
Let me know if you have any further queries!
