New trad session has started up, tonight (Thursday) and every Thursday, Imperial Hotel, 9.30pm. Different from many other sessions in that this one is completely open to anyone to join in, any level (beyond complete beginner). Instrumentalists, singers, dancers all welcome. Even if you don't play trad music - come along & we'll let you do a bit of your thing in your genre (rock, reggae, roots, classical, whatever), though the predominant genre is trad. Great craic & new friends guaranteed!:)

    for an open jam session,
9.30pm at the Imperial Hotel (Eyre Square).
Nominally traditional Irish music, but any acoustic music is welcome: You
try to join in with us, and we'll play along with you: Tunes, songs, etc...

Or call into Tigh Cholis at 9.30 PM every Monday, a great trad session going there too with Bodhrandude as the human metronome keeping the musicians in time. :)

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)
