Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bit of radio silence going on regarding the attempted abduction. Lots of wrong information out there about the victim. The age and gender being mixed up in different stories. I'd be nice if the garda could publish some info to help either put peoples minds at rest or be more on their guard.

It was a rotten evening weather wise and I'm sure this road would have been very busy with traffic at that time of day (it was a woeful night for traffic across the city with M50 chaotic).

Reports suggest schoolboy was asked to get into a car?
Seems a very odd abduction attempt given time / location and circumstances?

The letter issued to all parents of pupils in Wesley College and then circulated on social media is pretty clear as to the facts. Any further speculation is just that, speculation.
