    Hi,  My Wife has IRL passport and lived in London for the last 20years.
    I have UK passport and we both visit family in Dublin.
    We own a house in London and I am in full time employment here.
    We plan to buy a house in Dublin (in 1-2 years) & need to open a IRL Bank Account.

    Can one or both of us open a current account with ROI - from the UK ?
    I would just like to know if this is possible and how we could proceed?
    We do not want to spend time having to phone ROI from UK if possible.

    The online account opening is only available if you are living in ROI. In this instance, you would need to call our New Accounts Team on 0035314044034 to make an application for a current account or you can call into a branch when you are next visiting Ireland.
