Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There should be a 400% tax on owning a 2nd house.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,715 ✭✭✭✭Ally Dick

They should have Brendan Burgess on as well, for maximum rows

Something ironic about Dermot Bannon saying that we've been building wrong types of houses, too many family homes.

I don't think I've seen him build anything less than palatial three bed in his show

He doesn't do new builds though. He helps people with budgets to extend/renovate their homes

Central Park in Sandyford is a great example. There should be no social housing in that area.

Dermot Bannon just spouted random numbers that made no sense.

I remember in late 90's being in a just above minimum wage job, at the time I could without problem have rented a decent double room in Clontarf, nowadays you would be looking at Leitrim for same.

I don’t like zv plates.it would put me off buying a car.id prefer original plates on an original car.i hate seeing classic cars in a show with zv plates

Drives me mad. It's nice to have an idea of how old a car is to really appreciate it.

What's the premium in other European cities compared to Dublin ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭Hoboo

Everyone has a right to live in the city, just be prepared to sleep on a couch, or in a doorway. Its your right.

They're rushing to say as much as possible in the 17 minutes allocated to them.

Ridiculous idea to give such a short amount of time to this.

“Everyone has a right to live within the M50” says Dermot Bannon.

    Why ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,657 ✭✭✭✭Alf Veedersane

Stick your carbon emissions up your hole.

    Absolutely.

We have no real need for the hundreds of millions of fines because we stuck our carbon emissions up our holes.

Unless you were addressing the cow population...
