Poor Signal for certain channels

    Just bought a LG 43UK6470PLC.

I live in an apartment block so connected TV to 'TV' outlet in wall via Aerial Lead.

The auto-tune function on the TV set up 11 TV channels and about 10 Radio.

The problem is some of the channels have very poor signal:

    RTE2
    Virgin 1
    TG4
    Virgin 2
RTE News Now (Says "Data Only")

The below channels seem to be working fine:
    RTE 1
    Virgin 3
    RTE Jr
    RTÉ 1 +¹
    Oireachtas
    Saorview Info

You need to confirm what your wall socket is connected to.
Is looks like you are picking up some level of saorview signal, but is your wall socket a cable service outlet or is there actually a TV antenna at the other end?

I suspect that you are just about pulling in a Saorview signal from the length of coax running around the building. If so, that is not going to be reliable enough.

Depending on your location (how near the saorview transmitter) you could try a small indoor antenna and see if the signal is strong enough. Otherwise you might have to try an external antenna on the balcony - again depending on where you are and what direction you are facing.

No easy answer until you can confirm what your wall socket is doing first.

    Got it sorted.

The auto-tune tried to pick these channels up through UHF 21. Manually tuned to UHF 50 and they work perfectly now.

To get all the channels you would have to tune in two frequencies. The Saorview stations are on two different Multiplexes (Mux). If it is the Collins Barracks low power transmitter on Channel 50, you will get the other stations on Channel 40.
