TV with a good EPG

My sister needs a new TV. Size is still under discussion, but will be going for an entry level model.

Main thing she wants to do is to give up sky so ideally needs something with a good epg with record and in a dream scenario series link or similar. Anybody really good for that?

Hi Akula.

Is it a satellite tuner you need built in to the TV so your sister can use the Sky dish or is for normal Saorview.

Normal Saorview is no issue at all but it becomes a little less straight forward for free to air satellite stations.
Unless the the product is FreeSat approved there can be issue with the EGP display stations in the correct order. This can be adjusted manually via the settings on the TV.

LG have their 43uk6400 with both Saorview tuner and Sat tuner (Not Freesat approved) priced at 378 Euro
