It really depends on what size of TV you would want as there are many options within the 1K budget.

Would those tv's be too big if your couch is only 5ft from the tv

letsgo2018, there are a few of these charts around. They're usually based on if you could notice the pixels, therefore with 4 k you can have bigger/sit closer. So really it's just down to what size you want. If it was me though, for comfort, I'd stick with 43" or less. Grab a tape measure and lookup the dimensions of some tvs and maybe mark it with tape or pencil on the wall?

I’ve purchased 2 TVs recently a 55 inch oled and a 43” tv for a second/kids room

If I was you I’d go with a 43”
I got a fantastic one local as I was under time pressure for it
Richer sounds did the larger tv for me and were about €50 or more cheaper for the 43” Lg

I have a 55" at home and only sit about 3 ft away from it.

Personally I feel its down to the individual, if I could have afforded a 65" OLED I would have squeezed that into my living room :o

One of the main things it offer is that is in a native 100Hz panel frequency the others are not.
