New TV Question

Hi ,
 
Looking at buying a new TV 65 inch ,  will only be using sky with 720p into it and Netflix but my broadband connection is only 3mb .
is it worth buying 4k Tv when I am only inputting 720p ? and what would you recommend . I was in one store yesterday and looked at the Samsung UE65NU8000 .
I  just wonder will I see the benefit of above tv when I am only putting in 720 and would a less tv still give me same result .

Thanks for the post.

To be honest you would not get the best from a 4K TV but they still handle standard HD pretty well.
I don't think there are any non 4K television available to us.

Starting point for a 65" would be the Toshiba 64U6863 priced at 719 Euro

Thank you for the quick reply .
Just looking at the spec of each of the 3 they are showing as a panel Frequency Rate of 50Hz

Both current tvs I am using at the moment are 40 inch 100 Hz , I am just wondering going to 65inch and 50hz would I see poorer quality taking into account that I'm just inputting 720p .

Hi Range.

Most entry to mid range LEDs on the market are all 50Hz.

To get a 100Hz you need to start around the Samsung 65NU8000 priced at 1354 Euro (In-store Only collection)
