Hi. I'm looking for a Smart TV for a friend at around 50" (the TV that is) :) .
The budget is up to €550, for general viewing, with easy navigation of the smart features.
I have older Smart Samsung TV's myself, but seen negative comments on picture quality & feature reduction to cut costs on the current models.
I think I'm leaning to recommend an LG with the Magic Remote as this should suit their usage. Therefore what model would you recommend, with the MR included?

I never rated Philips equipment, but the 50PUS6703 has got good review on picture here & on What HiFi; but that the Smart system is flagged as not so user friendly- what comments would you have on the smart interface & this TV in general?

    Regards, Joe

You could go for the 50UK6750 priced at £499 or 599 Euro (The smart remote can be purchased and added to this for around £40 - £50 but it is not something we can supply and would need sourced elsewhere unfortunately - Amazon have them listed)

The 50PUS6703 has been awarded 5 stars in What HiFi and really is great value for money but the start features are a little behind some of the others.
Currently priced at £429 or 499 Euro
