    Hi,

I would wondering if anyone could recommend an apartment in London for a 4-5 night stay convenient for sight seeing etc, a location which would make Chelsea FC accessible.

Also airports - Gatwick seems to be cheap to fly to compared to London city. is it much hassle getting in from Gatwick?

    thanks

    Hi riddles,

There are lots of regular services from Gatwick into London so you'd have no issues there.

Regarding apartments, you could search Airbnb for places in Chelsea though the underground is a very good service so if you don't mind a bit of commuting you'll have no bother getting around.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

If you are booking the Gatwick express train, do book it as far (up to a month) in advance as you can, it's a lot cheaper.

Or avoid the Gatwick Express altogether and get the Thameslink which is a whole lot cheaper.

Or Southern to Victoria, and get the District to Fulham Broadway. Or Southern to Clapham Junction, and Overground to West Brompton.

Southern is only three stops to Central London, East Croydon, Clapham, and Victoria. Not sure how many Thameslink is to Victoria or West Brompton.
