Anyone tried bringing a folding bike onto bus and any hassle? Assuming bus not too busy, hope no issues- a push chair takes up more space

Bikes are only carried on BE buses with luggage lockers, free if it folds and is in a bag.€15 otherwise. You might have some chance if it's in a bag on a city bus,but usually they wouldn't be carried.

Thanks for that. Won't risk the humiliation of being refused so :)

The official line would be not to carry a folding bike on a city bus,but I reckon if you had it in a bag and it folds up small you would be grand.

Bring the bike. Isn't one the purposes of a folding bike being able to bring it on public transport?

but you have to be able to store it properly

you can't have it in the aisle so if there is nowhere else on a city bus what can you do?
