The Giants vs eagles game in the second half is painful.

First punt on the game just there for Cleveland and we're well into the 3rd

Crazy few mins in the Jags Bills game. Fournette and Lawson ejected.

  • Registered Users Posts: 621 ✭✭✭Kev8360

You can’t give Micheal Crabtree that much space near the end zone on 3rd down - that was a big moment in the game if the Raiders wanted to keep it within a score.

I Expect Baltimore to see this out now.

Marshal Yanda ordered off the field and gets angry over it and (lightly) shoves the team trainer

I suppose a league spotter suspects a head injury and players can be ordered off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Great throw by Wilson and a great catch too to tie the game again.

    Cracker of a game too.

Edit: that was some awful missed call on the holding against OBJ.

Yeah looks like the ref's spotted something - he really didn't want to come off. I would hate to be the doctor in the blue tent with him!

Suggs getting that oxygen after a 43 yard fumble return :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,972 ✭✭✭mikemac2

Oh Matt Judon sacked Carr on 2nd down and was so happy he ran down the tunnel to celebrate and strolled back as if the game was over. He’s expected to play 3rd down !!

Gonna get a chewing from Harbaugh for that :pac:

Wilson with another beautiful throw to set up a game winning FG.

Huge win for Seattle. The Panthers are suddenly amongst the pack for a wildcard spot.

The questions of why Barkley had only four Carries in the second half.

Still right in it to win the division. If they get a few players back from injury they could be dangerous come playoff time if they make it.

Surprising to see the Dolphins and Cardinals in front in their games. Could tell two very high scoring games.

Denver finally playing well(ish), will they keep it up!?!

Philip Rivers on fire in the first half tonight. He went 19 of 19 for 185 and 2 TDs.
Chargers were 10-0 down early and now lead 28-10.

Some ballsy call by the Steelers there.

Edit: and what a ridiculous last two mins in Indy.

Hilarious in Colts Dolphins. 3 turnovers in 3 plays.

Rivers watch: 25 of 25, ties the record of most consecutive completions. It's the record for most in one game. He has 224 yards and 3 tds.

I always get the impression that VJ thinks you can take your timeouts into the second half. The numpty.

Juju just went 97 yards. Incredible play, well worth a watch. Steelers are blessed to have both him and AB.

Terrible playcalling from the Dolphins on their last drive and it looks like it will cost them the game.

Wow the Steelers mess it up again from four yards out, couldn't get it done and Roethlisberger throws the pick on third down.

Chalk it down, I had given up on the season but we're hanging tough!

I've long given up. Even wouldn't pick us today in my predictions but that was a sweet win and a very entertaining game. Philip Lindsay and Chris Harris were brilliant.

Chase Daniel still has more away wins than Aaron Rodgers this season.

Iirc his 4th quarter stats this season have been fairly abysmal, and they're not exactly impressive for his career either. No doubt his talents have been wasted these past number of seasons, but it seems like he isn't exactly making the most of them either. And to think he's turning 35 in a week

A mate of mine in the US texted me late last night, "Packers losing in the 4th quarter, game over".
4th quarter comebacks are not his thing, he's near 90th in the list. And it's not cause he normally has blowouts that doesn't require it, Manning/Brady have plenty of those as well.
Packers probably need a change at HC before Rodgers is finished. Seems like things are stale there.

There's no probably about it. It's a car crash there.

That performance last night should be the nail in McCarthy's coffin.

Vikes missed 2 fg attempts as well. It genuinely never looked like green bay we're ever getting a foothold in that game.

Some of Thielens catches were spectacular.

Chalk it down, I had given up on the season but we're hanging tough!

This team has guts - and they never give up.

I have been calling for VJ's head since last season - but you have to give him some credit for getting the win against the Chargers and again last night.

There are still some major issues - but if the attitude of the team is down to VJ then he is coaching his way into not getting sacked. Apart from the debacle against the Jets, this Broncos team has fought every game. They lost two games against the Chiefs, one against the Rams and one against the Texans - all by one score (and should have won two of those games).

The next five games have to prove that the last two weren't a flash in the pan.
I've long given up. Even wouldn't pick us today in my predictions but that was a sweet win and a very entertaining game. Philip Lindsay and Chris Harris were brilliant.

I tipped Sutton and Chubb to win O and D ROTY in pre-season - and while Sutton has been impressive, Lindsay is special and has to be in the mix for ROTY. His feet seem to be ahead of his eyes and know where to go. How he went undrafted is mind-boggling.

Love watching Lindsay, love the way he plays and his attitude is great. Gotta think he lifts his teammates getting in the face of the opposition after he rips them for a big run.

Juju just went 97 yards. Incredible play, well worth a watch. Steelers are blessed to have both him and AB.

Pittsburgh played better last night than in Jacksonville, but messed it up with penalties, fumbles and interceptions. One trick play TD and a 97 yard TD, but could not convert twice from short range in regular play.

Denver have rode their luck a bit the last two weeks, but I suppose they were a bit unlucky against Kansas City and Houston, so it all evens out I suppose. They head into a 4 game stretch against 49ers, Browns, Raiders and Bengals, and will likely have to win all 4 to stay in the playoff hunt.

My main takeaway from watching the weekends games:

Baker Mayfield looked absolutely sensational. Not just the stats, but his pocket presence, decision-making, play making, all on the road and all of this with a mastermind former head coach helping out the Bengals!!

I really think I would like to see Philip Rivers win a Super Bowl. He's been such a consistently good QB over the years for the Chargers, and hasn't had much luck in the playoffs. Coming to the end of his career, it would be great to see him win a ring. He was flawless against the Cardinals.

The Giants are completely wasting the talent they have at their disposal. No way they should have lost that game against the Eagles.

Completely agree. Iirc 4 times they went the length of the field only to be denied by things mentioned above. That fumble was the pick of them, and there was no need for him to take on that sort of contact in that situation.
