I really want to get these but I think I'll just be disappointed if I didn't get the newer version. Does anyone know is there much of a difference in the noise cancelation between the headphones and earphones?

Also you can get the QC25's in Argos if you prefer a b&m for €159.

Reviews show the earphones having better sound noise cancellation then the headphones. Actually strictly speaking this is down to them having better sound isolation due to their in ear design which naturally blocks out more noise. Also better fit if you wear glasses, wearing glasses can cause the seal of a headphone to break and leave sound in.

The QC20's have reviews indicating they have the excellent noise, in particular on planes, they are the best at that compared to any headphones (though others are slightly better in an office) along with being much smaller and lighter which is handy for travel and work better for glasses and sleeping (don't get in the way). They seem to be the choice for serious lightweight travellers.

Having said that many people seem to prefer the style of over ear headphones. So that comes down to choice.
