    Hiya guys.

Thinking about growing some winter heather to plant along a roadside ditch for a bit of colour in the winter. Sheep will have access to this heather at certain times of year and I am.jyst wondering are any of these varieties poisonous?

I have some land that is covered in heather and the sheep trim it back in winter so 'wild heather is no issue's just wondering if these decorative varieties might make them sick.

All cultivated varieties of heather are derived from wild varieties, so there should be no issue and there isn't afaik.

I saw blue dyed orchids in Tesco. Along with the colour dyed cut chrysanths, and the spray painted (or water dyed) heathers etc they are all horrible. Soon we will be having the glitter sprayed house plants for christmas too.
