Anywhere take sterling coins?

Hi all,
I’ve about 30 pounds sterling all in pound/2 pound coins

So banks are saying it’s at their own discretion

Is there anywhere from experience that will take it?

Not sure about this but watch out. UK changed all pound coins to new style and now old paper £5 and £10 notes no longer accepted. These are now plastic notes.

I’ve 27.5 in total. 5 pound note, 2.50 in 50ps and the rest in 1 and 2 pounds. You can have it for 20. Pm me if you want to collect it :-)

I think some of the charity collection buckets are happy to take foreign money. They can end up with enough it makes since to exchange it.
