    Electric Ireland announced that it will freeze electricity and gas prices this winter
    This is despite most other Irish energy suppliers increasing their prices in recent weeks

    Likely price increase next March then

    Before you go thanksing them too much......

    The best savings can only be achieved by changing supplier on an annual basis. Once your 12 month introductory discount expires it is time to jump ship. The best way to assess the best deal for any ndividual is to use this website:

    For me EI worked out cheapest as they offered €175 cashback a few months ago.
    Other suppliers are raising their prices, so it's good to hear that my supplier is not, yet.
    Once the year is up, switch
