    I have a network to which I have 3 devices connected .

Can I use this network to take a video of something and display it on one of the other devices (in real time)?

I suppose it would be easy enough with Skype or similar but can I do it simply using the network in the same way as cordless phones can talk to each other?

You can use VLC to capture the video device (camera) and stream, instead of (or in addition to) Playing the video locally.

    Thanks.
Does it stream it to the internet or just to the wifi network I have?

Either - you set it up as you wish.

There are lots of videos on line to help you set it up.
