Are these things worth a damn?

Do i still need a sky tv subscription?
Do i have to pay a monthly sub?
Or do i get free sky atlantic and a few more?

Half price here in Tesco for 23notes.

    Cheers!

There is a dedicated Now TV thread here but briefly, it is like a pre-pay cut down version of Sky delivered over Broadband rather than satellite.

You buy vouchers (called “passes”) that give you access to Sky Sports, Sky Movies, entertainment, and kids for a defined period. All of Sky’s owned channels are there along with a handful of others. No terrestrial channels so you will probably want to use this as a supplement to Saorview/Freesat for occasional pay-TV viewing.
