Looking to purchase Ethernet Cable , 50m roll to start for some PoE wiring.

Lot of poor quality out there and CCA stuff.

Was wondering where a good source of solid copper cat 5e/cat6 could be found?

Do you have a local electrical wholesalers? I picked up a solid copper cat6 300m roll for about €110.

AFAIK once it's certified all cable is the same, in my opinion the weak point in all cabling is the connection, don't scrimp on the connections and you'll be fine, cheap cable with good connections is a lot better than expensive cables with poor connections.

On a side note, check out the Cat 5e to HDMI adapters, awful handy for centralising your TV boxes away from the TV

I got a roll of this a couple of years ago after a bit of research on the minefield of CCA out there disguising as copper. Good quality product that's solid core and plan on buying another roll soon

Thanks for that, it is a bit of minefield.
Lot of ****e copper clad aluminum cable out there that wud melt and smoke in fire.

That stuff is quite pricey.

Cat 5e would be good for 1G cat 6 good for 10G up to 10m and 1G after what about going with cat 6a or cat 7 or are the extra screens a pain to work with.

If you want to send HDMI over cat6 from more than one source to more than one screen over you need a hdbaset matrix and they are eye watering expensive. But the way media is going a networked tv is a must.
