    Any snow forecast soon guys?

Every year we get this from you.

If you can read the replies you can read the other posts, and hopefully use some logic.

    A 68.0mph gust at 10:39 on wicklowweather.com

I'm wondering about the accuracy of these readings as it seems significantly higher than other stations.

It's really strong here West of Galway as the clearance arrives

Big difference between Casement and Dublin AP. Casement gusting 53kts. Dublin AP gusting 24kts.

Dublin increasing now, up to 43kts now according to ATC.

I am on a hill in Ashford overlooking the sea and feels like a hurricane is taking place out there. Maybe a rogue gust but the mean wind speeds out there right now are nasty.

Read the words "End of Times" thought this was it.

Very windy here in Naas, the village of Caragh lost power for about an hour but I think it's back. Haven't lost power yet here. Fingers crossed :(

Wet and windy here outside Newport, Mayo. Max gust was 63kph and avg 34kph, that's from a Lidl weather station so probably a guide as oppose to an accurate value.
Rain seems to be the main issue here as winds are typical for a winter's day.
I have a rare day off so we'll just chill on front of the stove and watch through the window.

Stay safe Graces7, I'd say your getting it a bit worse than us.

Thanks... not going anywhere! Glad you are at home.

May be my imagination but has the wind changed direction? There was a bad rattle at the back of the house that has now quieted

We have no mountains to look at... from my kitchen window a wall of water...

Get them parking there every time there is a storm and I've seen debris come over that wall. The wall that she is parked in front of fell over few weeks ago

That car will be ate with rust in a few months time, salt water into every orifice of it, things don't last in salt water

    As Shakespeare said "fook 'em".
    They deserve it.

Home safe to Kildare. Roads from mayo heading east from 8-10 were fine. By about 10-11 it was getting windy and it was fierce gusty from Enfield on the m4 the last bit home. Sitting looking out the window at it now!

Blustery now in Galway. Some strong gusts.
No reports of any trees down or flooding. The lack of foliage and high tide timings have helped.

plus something through the windscreen. When I was there the Prom was blocked off so people must have been driving around the barrier when I was up on the hill. Down at the pier people were walking and standing down at the lifeboat hut launch ramp while those waves where coming over. I use a zoom lens and would not dare go near that water

She drove past me when coming back out

Kind gale! Just ventured out as I could not understand why the constant banging at the back had stopped. I knew it was branches I cannot reach against the roof..

BEHOLD! The wind has broken them off!

Dare I say it... " It is an will wind that blows nobody any good.."!

Had been driving me demented for months...

WILD out there though.. soaked through in that short outing. Please God no emergencies out there..
