Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi just wondering if anyone out there has availed of the Permanent 2 per cent cashback.

it had been extended to december 2018. but as we are only sale agreed - early stages - there is only a slim chance of getting drawdown bofore then.

    but is the
    a.actual drawdown date
b - date of full approval letetr from bank

    relevant to this cashback deal?

any word on the street if the deal is extended into the new year?

    any advice appreciated.

I’d say they will extend it to be honest, they have done in the past along with ebs etc.

Best bet is to ask them directly and clarify it, they will know for sure if it’s being extended.

It’s competitive for mortgages so doubt they will not renew it, as they are still higher interest rates than KBC and Ulster bank etc so that’s the only thing going for them, they will hardly shoot themself in the foot and get rid of the cash back and still have 3.1% interest rates compared to 2.6/2.9 etc with the competitors
