Subwoofer repair ?

    Hi,

    My JBL ES250PW Sub woofer recently went south. I get a 'heart beat' from the sub when its powered up regardless to what it is connected to. It's a regular thud thud that doesn't go away even when the sub is warmed up. It has to be the electronics in the sub that have failed.

    I see a few audio repairs in Ireland and contacted them but no one could give me a quote, just a price to take a look.

    Does anyone know what the typical price is to repair a subwoofer ?

    Could I send just the electronics part of the sub in for repair (and not the speaker) ?
