Talent pool positions

Maybe someone could clarify this, if someone is placed 7th on a talent pool after interview, for which there were 5 jobs advertised, is that person 2nd in line for additional vacancies, or 7th after the initial 5 places are filled. The jobs are with a state body.

I’m in the same boat 7th in the Talent Pool ... I think I’ll phone them for clarification
