    Hi all,

Just looking for some advice from anyone who has built lately or anyone in the know. Getting through a self build slowly but surely but just want to run through my insulation spec and see am I missing anything.
150mm full pumped bonded bead cavity. 50mm insulated plasterboard on the inside of every external wall. 38mm plasterboard on ceiling with 200mm wool on top. 62mm insulated plasterboard on vaulted ceiling. 125mm spray foam between rafters. My attic is open plan with knee walls and I’m going to put down another 100mm wool behind the knee wall on top of rafters. I do have plans to plasterboard all of attic but don’t know if I’ll get around to it now.

1: what is the ventilation strategy for the roof?
    Are you using ventilation baffles
2: what is the exact make up from outside in?
    eg:
    roof tiles
    ..

Vaulted ceiling insulation make up will lead to over heating in summer

Where is your air-tightness / vapour barrier layer in each type of construction /location?

Not a good spec and no A/T detail. Do more research (hint: search this forum)
